Stepping Stone to Higher Education or Jump-Start to a Career

The Health Care Academy is sanctioned through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Charter Schools. The HCA classrooms are located in LHS and on the third floor of the Ladysmith Middle School along with the following HCA laboratories: Dental Lab, EMT Lab, and Certified Nursing Lab. The middle school is centrally located within the city of Ladysmith. HCA students are transported from LHS to the middle school for all of their Technical College lab classes. Students enrolled in the Health Care Academy may also take non-HCA courses in a seamless transition between the high school and the academy curriculum.
