Field Trips
As part of the International Student Program, students will be taken on a variety of cultural field trips throughout the year. These trips include, but are not limited to the following: college and university visits, in state and out of state museums, Lake Superior and Lake Michigan, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Milwaukee, Green Bay, Wisconsin Dells, Mall of America, and zoos. A special trip will be taken to observe the Native American Culture of the Ojibwa Tribe of the Chippewa Indians.
In addition, there will be numerous field trips associated with individual classes and co-curricular clubs and organizations. All of these opportunities are available to student visitors and other LHS students. In an effort to create cultural immersion experiences, local families have signed up to host student visitors for some weekend exchanges.
