The International Student Program at Ladysmith High School welcomes students from around the globe who wish to enrich their life experiences by participating in the American Educational system. The Student Services Department at LHS provides support and assistance to students and their families prior to their acceptance into the program, and extensively after the student arrives in Ladysmith. Each international student is partnered with a faculty mentor, who guides the student as they become oriented to Ladysmith High School life, as well as with two to three families from the community who are committed to ensuring the student enjoys a rich and fulfilling experience outside of school hours.

The following are steps to be followed in the admissions process:

2) Download, complete and submit the International Student Application form. You will need Adobe Reader to complete the application. Click on the link to the left if needed.

3) There is no school application fee. Accepted students will be notified and the full tuition will need to be received in order to issue the I-20 document, which is needed to secure a visa. Boarding fee must be received prior to the student's arrival in Ladysmith.

4) After issuance of the I-20 document, student must apply for an F-1 visa from the U.S. Department of State. The following link can offer assistance and instructions: Student and Exchange Visitors. The United States Student & Exchange Visitor System (SEVP) will charge $200 during the filing of the non-immigrant visa application. See the following site for more information about this charge:
