Health Care Academy students are able to enroll in courses that allow them to earn both Academy and Technical College credit. College bound students also benefit from Health Care Academy courses by becoming better prepared for the rigorous course work that awaits them in the future. Regardless of future academic plans, all of our students enjoy a curriculum that is relevant, rigorous, and in through which they build close professional relationships with their instructors and health care mentors. Relevance, Rigor, and Relationships - the new 3R’s of the 21st Century!
Rusk County
"Unwind Your Mind" this fall in Rusk County. Hike or mountain bike through a canopy of autumn leaves on the Sisters’ Farm Trail and the Blue Hills Trail System. Canoe or kayak one of Rusk County’s four wild rivers, the Flambeau, Chippewa, Thornapple and Jump. Go geocaching — fall is a great time to hunt for caches hidden in historic and scenic locations throughout the area. Fish and boat Rusk County’s 250 lakes and flowages — fall is the best time of year for catching a trophy musky or smallmouth bass. And the hub for all your Rusk County adventures is Ladysmith, offering shopping, dining and historic attractions.
